I et direkte montere den hydrauliske pumpe er monteret direkte til udgangen flange af PTO. Direkte montering er den mest almindelige form for PTO i den mobile industri. En bekymring at være forsigtig med, når direkte montering af en pumpe er en tilstand kendt som aksel fretting. Dette er en hurtig spline slitage af PTO og pumpe aksler. Chelsea anbefaler kraftigt brugen af pumpen understøtter (støttebeslag) i alle programmer.

Ved brug af en direkte mount metode, i PTO installation, brug en bærekonsol at støtte pumpen til transmission, når følgende betingelser er opfyldt:
